Masser af liv i kvarteret, pubber og restauranter, kombineret med en tilbagetrukket lejlighed i en stille gade/“Mew” med låst port. Negative: Mangelfuld rengøring og mug i fryseren. Dette havde tidligere anmeldelser gjort opmærksom på, men ærgerligt at det ikke bliver prioriteret. Den store sofa og lænestolene var meget slidte, og der var begrænset med køkkenredskaber.

The location is superb. But it was rundown, water stains on ceiling, doors that won’t close in bedrooms. And, oh by the way. 1 week before we were to arrive they tell us they are selling the home and will come in at a last minute to show the property , will send someone in to “clean up”. But they refused to say if there was insurance for the possibility of theft. They just wanted us to lock our bags every day. Not very convenient for a large family. Although the location was fantastic I wouldn’t stay again

Pros: property is in a good location near Paddington, is in reasonably good condition (except for scuffed walls) and met general expectations for our stay. Cons: poor communication from property management. Address and contact information not provided (it’s located in Norfolk Mews, not Norfolk Square); took over an hour to reach someone who could direct us to the right place. Arrived back on our second day to find the front door wide open with a stranger in the living room, rummaging through closets. Apparently StayBeyond (the property management company) uses it as a linen storage and needed to transfer some sheets to another property. We should have been notified in advance of the “visit” - poor communication within the company and to guests. Very VERY awkward. Key points: 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, reasonably good for families and small groups. Feels like a managed property- well-furnished but soulless. Verify information prior to visit and make sure they provide contact person and number. Expect intrusions without notice.

Finding one location to host us all was not easy but this home for the need perfectly. Our country souls felt very safe, great local food across the street and within walking distance. The hosts were great at communication and answering my questions.

The Norfolk Townhouse is a property in a great location. It is within two blocks of the Paddington train and underground station. An easy walk to Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and Harrods. Decent neighborhood, plenty of places to eat, a hop-on, hop-off bus stop half a block away. The house is extremely under cared for. There are scuff marks every where, water damaged areas that smell of mold, furniture is broken and dirty. Three of the five showers are unusable because you cannot control the water temperature. There is not lack of hot water in them, but you will be scalded it is so hot. The kitchen is very understocked. Appliances are usable but you have to guess how to work them because the labels have all been worn off the controls. The refrigerator does not make things very cold, yet there is ice continuously developing on the back wall despite repeated removal. Bath towels were provided but we had to play hide and seek to find them all around the house, they were not readily available in the bathrooms. With a little effort this could be a great rental. We were only there for 4 nights so we made the best of it. We knew there was no way they could move 8 of us and our short visit would have been wasted waiting for them to come and fix things. There have been similar complaints, just seems like no one wants to make this place better.

Emplacement idéal mais le nettoyage final doit être confié à des personnes de confiance... et intégré dans le prix de la location. On a démarré notre séjour par un lavage complet du frigo et de la cuisine en général... (pas du reste et je crains que le sol n’ait pas été lavé depuis des semaines). Heureusement le linge de maison était propre. De plus, les peintures des murs sont très dégradés (des coups et traces de mains partout)... à repeindre d’urgence mais en peinture satinée... Chaque pièce a son problème : abat jour cassé, poignée de porte abîmée, robinet abîmé, problème écoulement douche, problème radiateur au 2 eme étage et dans la chambre du sous-sol, le foyer central de la cuisinière défectueux... Un gros travail de remise en état est à prévoir... Dommage car c’est un bien qui se dégrade alors qu’il devrait sortir du lot par rapport à son emplacement dans Londres. Je plains le propriétaire... Il manque aussi une description de la gestion des poubelles (pas de tri ??). Du coup, le terme « superbe maison » dans l’annonce est inadapté... Pas d’effet WAOOH mais déception...

Zunächst das Positive: das Haus liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe des Bahnhofes Paddington in einem gepflegtem Hinterhof. Ein PKW-Stellplatz ist direkt davor und es ist sehr ruhig. Das Haus erstreckt sich über vier Ebenen wobei im Erdgeschoss der Eingangsbereich mit Wohnzimmer und einem WC ist. Im Keller befindet sich die Küche mit Essbereich, ein kleines Schlafzimmer mit Sofacouch sowie ein Hauswirtschaftsraum mit Waschmaschine und Trockner und einem angeschlossenem Bad mit Dusche und WC. Im ersten OG befinden sich zwei Schlafzimmer, eines mit Kingsize Bett und eines mit Queensize Bett. Im Dachgeschoss sind zwei weitere Schlafzimmer mit je einem Queensize Bett. Alle vier Schlafzimmer verfügen über ein En-Suite Badezimmer mit WC und Dusche bzw. Wanne mit Duschmöglichkeit. Die Räume sind relativ geräumig und verfügen über Schränke, Kommoden und auch Wandschränke. Die Küche ist sehr modern ausgestattet und verfügt über alle wichtigen Küchengeräte nebst je einem großem Kühlschrank und Gefrierschrank. Geschirr, Besteck, Töpfe und weitere Küchenutensilien sind vorhanden. Der Esstisch bietet ausreichend Platz für acht Personen, bei 10 wird es schon enger. Die Treppe in den Keller ist komplett aus Glas, während es nach oben über Holztreppen geht. Es gibt Lichtdurchlässe in jeder Etage, im Wohnzimmer geht und sieht man über die Küchenzeile. Insgesamt ein schönes und modernes Haus mit viel Platz. Allerdings gibt es leider auch Negatives. Das Haus ist zwar im ersten Moment sauber, aber im Detail haben wir an jeder Glasfläche die Reste des Saubermachens sehen können. Auf Spiegeln war Putzschleier vorhanden und die Dichtungen und Abschlussschienen der Duschen und Badewannen schon stark verkalkt und wiesen teilweise rötlichen Schimmel auf. Die Toiletten war sauber. Die Waschbecken waren durchweg zu klein, sodass Wasser beim Zähneputzen bzw. Händewaschen auch auf den Boden und die Fronten der darunter befindlichen Schränke tropfte. Reparaturen z. B. an Gardinenschienen wurden nur notdürftig durchgeführt und schon vorhandene Abriebspuren an Wänden und Schränken sind deutlich sichtbar. Eine Kochzone des Induktionsfeldes war defekt und auch Ablagen der Spülmaschine. Teilweise fehlten Leuchtmittel in den Lampen. Ebenso fehlten Hinweise zum WLAN in der Hausmappe mit allen anderen Bedienungsanleitungen. Ganz unschön waren zwei Kakerlaken, die wir im Bad und Hauswirtschaftsraum im Keller erlegt haben und dass sich niemand vom Vermieter trotz Info gemeldet hat.

This property was a perfect size for our group and it was a great location. It is only a few minutes from the Paddington station so very easy to get anywhere. The only downside is that the place is not well maintained with the walls all scuffed. The place wasn't perfectly clean and not well stocked with items like coffee pods. We did not spend a lot of time in the property so these items were not a big issue. The size and location made it worthwhile. It is great for a group to be able to visit instead of being in separate hotel rooms.

Due to our arrival time and a strict 3pm checkin I actually booked the day before to accommodate our early arrival to be able to drop our bags off and tour about. We arrived to find the house NOT ready with soiled sheets and towels strewn about in the bedrooms and trash on the floor. Upon entering the kitchen we were met with a fowl smell only to discover rotting food in the refrigerator. I made contact with Rusty and he explained "he thought I was arriving on Saturday and not Sunday" I said I paid for the previous day to facilitate our luggage. He insisted the house was clean until I toured him through the property and showed him the mess the previous patrons left. I would like to request a refund of one day stay due to the obvious fact the property was not ready nor habitable due to the mess and rotting food. The rest of the week was seamless! Comfortable house.

Positive: Ligger rigtigt fint placeret iht. tog og Subway ( Paddington ) Mange værelser med eget bad. Negative: De var ikke klar da vi ankom så vi skulle vente 1 1/2 time på at få lejligheden. Uacceptabelt når man tænker på hvor strenge de var i deres mails med at påpege at man under ingen omstændigheder skulle ankommer for tidligt. De havde desuden ikke fortalt at der var en låge med en kode på. Havde vi ikke mødt en anden beboer, ville vi havde stået kl 22 uden kode til at komme ind i gården, hvor hoveddøren til lejligheden var. Der var 5 værelser med eget bad, men på 3 af værelserne virkede termostaten ikke på bruseren, så man kunne ikke gå i bad. Skabe og skuffer var ødelagte, og kunne ikke åbnes. På den ene værelser var benet brækket af sengen, så vi måtte klodse den op på bøger for at kunne ligge deri. Der var desuden lagt et møjbeskidt gulvtæppe ind under for at kamuflere skaden. I køkkenet er der massive fugt skader og døre der slet ikke kan åbnes på grund af fugt. Der var desuden kun 4 glas i en lejlighed til 10 personer. Sofaen i stuen er beskidt og plettet af stearin. Alt bærer i det hele taget præg af at være meget misligholdt. Forsøgte flere gange at få overnatnings stedet i tale men de vender ikke tilbage på mails.

Stains in bathroom ceiling. You showed a picture of 13 Norfolk Square front of building. We entered in the back. Rather misleading. Communication with Stay Beyond team not accurate. Told there was no clothes dryer. We brought extra clothes only to find out there was s dryer. Told there was 1 hairdryer. There were at least 3. One was broken. We were a little frustrated to say the least

Positive: Excellent quiet location Negative: When we arrived there was a young guy already in the property who was photographing everything but goodness knows why as there had clearly been no repairs done in a long while..the room he was in had 7 out of 15 bulbs out! I mentioned that there was no loo roll in my room and he argued that there was..why would I lie?!??!! The house was listed for 10 people but there wasn’t 10 of anything including 8 dining room chairs..even our smallest ladies weren’t able to squeeze into the high chair.. the top bedroom had bed bugs as my friends bitten body proves and the shower fixtures were broken. The furniture throughout was very tired and my wardrobe had the handle hanging on for its life but mainly hanging off. As we were on a busy city break the shortcomings didn’t matter too much but truthfully it is not that good

Positive: Not a lot. It was big enough for us all to sleep. Negative: Everything was dirty from the floors to the bathrooms to the cutlery and crockery. We had to clean the kettle wash the cutlery crockery because everything was dirty. When we got there the whole place stank of sewage and a plumber was waiting to go in to fix a bathroom. We were disgusted. I have put online the photos of the bathroom and have sent photos with my complaint.

Positive: The property was located in a great area, easy access to food, as well as public transportation. It’s also secluded behind a gate which adds to security. We loved that there was so much space as well as so many bathrooms. Negative: There was water damage on the bottom floor with a noticeable musty smell. There was also walls scuff throughout the property, which is fine. The sofa was soiled. 4 of the 4 showers were unable to be adjusted, leaving us taking a scorching hot shower or 8 of us using one shower. There was no hand soap anywhere in the property, we had to buy our own. Had we known, we would’ve brought some in our checked luggage.

it would have been a decent and reasonable place to stay had it not had an infestation of bed bugs
Positive: Location is central and convenient size of property is good Negative: There were bed bugs in the bedrooms on the top floor and we were unable to use them, to quote "we kindly request that you refrain from using these two bedrooms until further notice. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities", so instead of 5 bedrooms we had 3 and had to use the sofas in the living room. The response from StayBeyond was an offer of full refund. To quote them "We will be refunding your entire stay for the inconvenience you have faced, and we are also offering you a complimentary two-night stay at our hotel as a gesture of goodwill" then they wrote "We are deeply sorry for the previous message. Unfortunately, we are still waiting for our management's update regarding the compensation ticket request." After 3 weeks of chasing them for an answer every day they finally offered compensation of only 20%, so we paid 80% for only 3 beds. Disgraceful to say the least. Company takes £500 damage deposit which took over 18 days to refund

Positive: Alkuperäisessä asunnossa oli ongelma, joten majoittaja järjesti meille toisen asunnon. Asunto oli siisti ja juuri remontoitu. Negative: Wifi-yhteys ei toiminut, sillä majoittaja ei ollu maksanut internet-laskuaan, yhteys saatiin toimimaan vasta viimeisenä iltana. WC-tiloissa ei ollut käsisaippuaa, vaan se piti pyytää erikseen. Saimme ensin vain yhdet avaimet ja erikseen kysymällä vasta toiset (kyseessä on 10 henkilön asunto).

Positive: Excelente Ubicacion rodeada de muchas opciones de compras, comida, bares, y a minutos de la estación del Tube. Casa muy comoda Negative: La casa estaba muy caliente. No tiene A/C La Puerta presento problemas para cerrar y nunca recibí ayuda para lograr cerrarla, solo comuminaciones con preguntas (que ya había comentado) era como si jugaran a no entender. Algunos de los Banos presentaron problema para que el agua fría de las duchas funcionara. Ninguna den las peticiones que hoce tuvieron solución. No contestaban el teléfono y la vex que lo hicieron se perdió la comunicación sin haber recibido respuesta y nunca llamaron de nuevo

Needs repairs
Positive: Location close to Paddington stationand querky style being in a mews. Negative: Property poor. Needs maintenance and updating. From pillows and bedding doors not closing broken handles shower heads missing so many issues to mention. Old worn furniture kettle gross inside. Hot water system went out for 24 hours. They sent someone out which was good but resolved itself? Too hot could not control the house temperature. Disappointed for the price.

A very nice facility for ten people with a few caveats
Positive: Location very near the Paddington train and tube station is superb. The facility (all four levels) are delightful. Price was very good value. Nights were quiet. Negative: A member of the family received multiple bites that had the look of bedbugs. The managers were rather slow to respond. The notebook of information was missing the manuals for the clothes washer and dryer. It took time to figure them out. Most of the pillows and comforters were feather-filled, a problem for many family members who are feather-allergic. Non-feather pillows were delivered after two nights. The requirement that all stayers over 18 submit in advance photos with IDs i was a nuisance.

Pleasant but could have been excellent with some tlc
Positive: Great location, size and layout of the property was excellent for a large group, easy access using phone app, good communication with managing company through the stay. Negative: Property wasn’t ready at 3pm but we were kept informed and luckily didn’t really affect us as we were out until a little later anyway. Although the majority of the property was clean there were some areas that needed attention. The basement - kitchen diner and bedroom were far too hot, 1 fan provided but not sufficient- the heat made the rooms unbearable to sit in, couldn’t imagine if it had been mid summer. Overall just needs some tlc, a paint refresh and replace some furnishings such as the blinds in the bedrooms and wardrobe doors not shutting properly.

El amplio salón es lo único que está en planta baja. Tuvimos un tiempo realmente frío en Londres, pero la casa estaba bien caldeada y era un gustazo volver cada día al alojamiento para descansar. El sistema de apertura de la puerta mediante Klevio nos resultó muy práctico. También recibimos un buen apoyo y asesoramiento por parte del personal que gestiona el alojamiento. Negative: Es cierto lo que comentan otros usuarios respecto a la necesidad de hacer pequeñas reparaciones puntuales, pero ninguna verdaderamente importante o urgente. Elendig kommunikation med værterne og dårlig start af ferien
Positive: Lejligheden var fin og den lå godt! Der var rent og pænt. Negative: Det var elendig kommunikation med værterne. De skrev en mail om morgen, at de skulle have billeder af alle deltagers ID samt billeder hvor hver deltager holdt sit ID op foran sig selv. Dette blev sendt, men de svarede aldrig om de havde modtaget det. Jeg endte med at måtte sende alle billeder til 3 forskellige medarbejdere (personlige og yderst fortrolige oplysninger, hvilket er i strid med loven om databeskyttelse af personlige oplysninger) talte i telefon med forskellige medarbejdere, der alle havde forskellige mails og ikke tilgang til de mails jeg havde sendt. Det var først, da jeg ringede til Booking.com, at der var en medarbejder, der tog det alvorligt, og selv ringede mig op. Han kunne så fortælle, at der også skulle overføres depositum, selvom det står i reservationen, at depositummet bliver trukket på betalingskortet. Og først derefter blev der sendt en links med en app til låsen. Det betød, at vi kom ind i lejligheden 2 timer senere end lovet. Vi havde været oppe siden kl. 03 om natten, havde gået i mange timer og troede faktisk at det var et fup firma, fordi det virkede så amatøragtigt. Der manglede service. Særligt glas var der ikke mange af. Opvaskermaskinen var slidt og ødelagt i gummilisterne, sådan at den nederste kurv ikke kunne skubbes ind, men skulle løftes ind. Blandingsbatterierne på de fleste af toiletterne var slidte og derfor svære at få indstillet. Der lugtede ekstremt af råd og svamp i kælderen, hvor der er køkken og et værelse.

Especially as one of the nights we had a very expensive restaurant to go to!! We contacted the owners, they suggested what to do to fix it but it didn’t work they then confirmed they would have to send someone, this would be we had left. I have asked for a partial refund that was 2 weeks ago, still waiting to hear!! The house looks a bit “tired” in places, could do with repainting, a new front door, it really didn’t feel that secure!! Also the shower room in the basement is a bit shabby, tiles missing, sorry should have taken a photo!

Great location, needs maintenance
Positive: The property is in a great location, very large property for families, beds and bathrooms were good. A good property to stay at, but people need to report when things aren't working, and the cleaning and maintenance staff need to ensure that the property is in good working condition for the next visitors. Negative: The dryer in the laundry was broken when we arrived and was never repaired or replaced during our stay of 1 week. We had 7 adults would could not get clothes dry during winter. The front door had a pin pad for entry, which was broken on the first day, when we arrived at night, we where in the rain in winter and unable to get into the property. Only through good luck we managed to open the door that night. The next the day the door was repaired for us. The fridge is behind a timber panel, and needs to be shut very hard for the door to close. There were frypans that didn't work with the induction cook top. The large back ring on the cook top didn't work either. We paid a lot of money to stay the Christmas week, and was disappointed that the dryer issue was never addressed.

Sad way to waste so much money in such a beautiful area

Although it said online the property was available to rent it wasn't and we had to wait 3 hours to get the key codes (which by the way we had to call every day as it wouldn't let us access into the house)... Some of the phone staff were horrific to deal with and rang us at 11pm at night to abuse us for not completing a step in the sign in process which we didn't get because we had no wifi... Also TV didn't work and was never fixed.. Lots of maintenance issues that need fixing... Heating never worked...

Positive: The Norfolk Stunning 5BDR apartment was as stunning as promised. The location is unbeatable. It is just a few minutes away from the Paddington Underground Station, where one can board not only tube wagons, but also out-of-London trains. In addition, in the U-station itself one can find two supermarkets and convenience stores. The apartment is hidden away in a narrow alley away from the street tumult, but on the adjacent London street there is a plethora of restaurants, from Italian to mid-Eastern, and even a store where you can – for a modest fee – stow away your suitcases once your apartment has to be vacated. The apartment itself is spacious and well equipped and so is the kitchen. Two refrigerators, not one, wait for the groceries you will want to buy at Paddington station. The boiler seems to be new, and there is a constant supply of hot water. The wi-fi works without interruption. Negative: Here and there an armchair or a window blind need fixing

Positive: Super location - 2 mins walk from paddington station. 1 mile from A40. Parking outside for 1 car inside gated mews complex. Fantastic property, loads of room. Group of 7 friends and able to dine in friday then access great things to do Saturday - walked down paddington basin to notting hill enjoying great choice of places to eat & drink. Nice beds, stay beyond very response to any requests. Negative: Booking process was a little arduous with providing details / ID etc. Initially worried about level of what was requested form all group but shouldn't have been. Don't like the fact the #500 deposit was physically charged rather than held in lieu of any problems. Now I have to wait 2 weeks for that back so I would recommend a review of how that is handled. Other than that I would have no hesitation to use the property again

Positive: The pillows and bed were very comfortable Negative: The first issue was that they asked for everyone’s pictures of their ID’s I explained that we were surprising my mum for her 50th birthday and me asking her for her selfie would ruin the surprise. I explained that I would send my ID picture as requested and I was the leading booking guest. I even explained that the stay beyond website states that “We reserve the right to use identification matching software to confirm the identities of the leading booking guest.” The customer service person stated anyone in the group above 18 years old have to email their IDs with selfies. This why I believe racism played a part in us not staying at the Northfolk townhouse because as soon as I emailed the picture they requested for the property was not available. I booked for Northfolk Townhouse, less than 24 hours prior to check-in date I was informed that the property was inhabitable as there was a blockage in on of the pipes and there was a bad smell. I was so disappointed as we have made plans based on the location of Paddington. And now have to travel further from a different location. I spoke to one of the customer service people and I asked to speak to a manager but was told this was not possible and the only choice I was given was Kensington property and if I didn’t accept I would have to lose all my funds put to book the Northfolk property. But on the stay beyond website terms and conditions it states that “ if we are not able to offer you alternative accommodation or you do not wish to stay at the alternative accommodation we will provide a full refund.” This got me thinking as soon as I sent our selfie’s with IDs we were told that the property was inhabitable , I strongly believe that racism had a big part played in not staying at the Northfolk Townhouse. I was then offered another apartment in Kensington, which was in a bad state. In our arrival one of the big rooms en-suite toilet was blocked with poo left inside.

The location can't be beat for convenience getting around London. Heathrow airport express and trains from all over England are right down the street and so is the Underground and buses to everywhere right around the corner. The house is lovely and the 5+bathrooms and bedrooms is what sold us on this one. We looked all over for something like this so were happy with the all of the amenities. The laundry was great to have, as well, and I don't think that was even mentioned on the website. The only problem we had was the noise made by the group that had rented the other apartment next door. They were having a bachelorette party and played loud music and had people in the mews right under our windows until 4:30 AM one night. The keyless entry posed a bit of a challenge for some of our group, but we managed to make it work. I do think it is easier than trying to provide keys to a large group of guests. There were also construction workers using the little patio as a staging area, so we couldn't use that area at all. They made quite a bit of noise too, but we were out all day and late every night so we really didn't mind. The downstairs bedroom/den had a fold out sleeper but it was made up nicely when we got there and there is a bathroom right across the kitchen so it worked out just fine. Overall, this is a house that works perfectly for a large group and I would come back again if I needed a large house in London again.

The space is wonderfully larger than we expected with a bathroom attached to each bedroom making is very accommodating to multiple family groups staying together. The flat is also located right in the heart of the City with easy access to restaurants and the tube. We were able to traverse the City quite easily from this location. The flat is located down a small peaceful alley, Uber and taxi drivers find it hard to locate. You will soon find it is easier to have them meet you at a restaurant or the hotel near the flat rather than give them the address of the flat. The host communicated immediately when needed and provide clear instructions when necessary.

The house is in a great location and a good size but we felt the interiors were in need of a coat of paint and the floors weren’t cleaned properly. The courtyard outside was also full of rubbish which meant it was unusable. We chose this house due to the bed configurations but were extremely disappointed to find on arrival that the majority are small doubles and not the king sized beds advertised on the listing. The hot water was broken on the first morning and while the host did address this as quickly as possible it meant, as we had plans, most of our group were unable to have a warm shower. We did not feel it represented good value with all the issues faced and have fed back this back host but received no response.

This is a nice property in a fantastic location! We were a party of 10 (4 adults and 6 kids ages 14 to 5) and we all fit very comfortably. The weather was unusually warm during our visit so having no A/C became an issue, although there were fans provided. Also, the owner employs a management company and communication regarding check in was very confusing between them. We were given three different addresses for the property so we were completely lost and walked around for quite a while looking for it. However, once we found the property we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was large and well-equipped. We would definitely stay here again!

You also have traditionnal english pubs, and many shops around. It was a real pleasure to spend a night here. We spent a brilliant family weekend here for my Dad's 70th Birthday. There were 8 adults and 3 children and we had more than enough space for everyone. It was fantastic for everyone to have their own bathroom! The house is very well appointed with some quirky features which we loved. Location is perfect for exploring London, very close to Paddington station and lots of restaurants, pubs and shops on the doorstep. Would definitely recommend!

Ridiculously useful location, in a quiet street right by Paddington Station. We were 8 and the house felt like a wonderful size, with a great sitting room sofa for everyone to hang out on. The beds were really comfy and the bathrooms very modern and clean with good showers. All in all, if I need a house this size again for a London stay, this would be my first port of call.

Really great place with a genuinely cool interior. Staff was great as well. While it wouldn't deter me from staying here and I give this place generally flying colors I would note there is a substantial amount of construction going on next door at the moment. This is quite loud during the day so if noise from 8am-5pm is a big problem for you this might not be the best place. Personally I didn't mind this, but might be relevant for others.

This property was phenomenal. It looks just like it does in the pictures. The location was superb; everything that we needed were a few blocks away, subway, shops, restaurants. I have had issues at other places when it comes to the use of water or cleanliness but this would have to be the top airbnb property that I have rented. Kimberly's property surpassed all expectations.

We had a great time. The flat is clean and well-appointed. The rooms are smaller than the photos imply, but well-designed. The one thing to be aware of is that there are 4 flights of stairs, off of a small stairwell. This was particularly challenging for my 85-year old father. Nonetheless my immediate family of four would stay here again if we weren't traveling with my father. The property manager Fort was very helpful.

I would highly recommend this property to anyone! Was a good location and the host was very good at getting back to me with any questions I had regarding my stay. They house had lots of room, and was modern, clean and bright; the beds were so comfy with soft luxurious bedding. Good showers too. I really couldn't fault a thing. I will be coming back again soon!

What an amazing experience, the best city in the world along with the best Air BNB in the world! We had a group of 9 that couldn't believe how perfect it was, after staying in different types of accommodation through Europe it was a god send to have an ensuite for each room! As well as being a 250m walk to Paddington St Station, the shops across the road are perfect and have everything you need. Kimberley was very helpful and I highly recommend this for anyone looking to visit London :)

We had a great stay and experience at Kimberley's house. She was friendly, helpful and responsive in the booking process. The house is as described - a very convenient location 2 mins from Paddington station but in a quiet private mews. The whole house is newly decorated to a good standard and presented clean and fresh - felt much more like a hotel room than a private house which is exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommended.

The accommodation were almost exactly as Kimberley had described. It was perfect for my family of 7 adults and 3 babies. Having the 5 1/2 baths was excellent. Very well appointed as described. It was very close to things and that made things very convenient. We never met Kimberley which would have been nice, but Fort showed us everything and was very helpful. It happened to be a very hot week in London and it would have been nice to have a few fans, but that does not happen often. We did fine. The place was amazing and very spacious. It was a great deal and a great location. When I arrived at check-in, the house managers were still cleaning (an hour past the check-in time), but it was not a big deal. The amenities were great and the place was great (a bit confusing to get to). Internet worked great, lots of bedrooms, we had 9 fit comfortably. We also stayed at 1 Norfolk Square Mews, but definitely recommend the other property (12 Norfolk) if you were debating between the two. The Internet was spotty and this one was smaller. Finally, the house managers hung out outside of the house all day for two of the days we were there. Not a huge issue, but it made some of our guests uncomfortable because they didn't know who they were. Overall though, I definitely recommend!

Clean, modern and great location. Kitchen was well equipped except for silverware and that could be because it was just completed before we arrived. Plan to bring soap as well for hands and showers. Overall very pleased with the amount of space and Kimberley was extremely helpful when we had questions.

Unfortunately, we did not get to stay at the apt. We had a mid-day bag drop and saw that the apartment was not ready (floors were being tiled, walls were being painted). The owner explained that the apt would be done (except for one bathroom and walls would not be finished) along with cleaning the entire place, but we didn't want to risk staying in a place that was not fully completed.

Poor Property Management and Communication
Although a door code was sent to me, the StayBeyond team did not send address or contact information. Norfolk 12 is located in Norfolk Square Mews; without property location, I spent over an hour trying to reach someone who could direct us to the rental property. The location is good, near Paddington, although difficult to find. The property is well-maintained with basic supplies. Walls are scuffed. During our second day, we arrived back in the evening at Norfolk 12 to find the door open and a stranger inside, going through closets. StayBeyond uses the property to store linens and was apparently moving linens to a different location; I was not notified before the visit and it was very awkward to find someone inside. I did receive a call later that evening to tell me that someone would be coming *the next day* to pick up sheets and towels; clearly they're not very good at communicating to each other. Responsiveness was poor. Property was reasonably well-furnished, but lacks character. Location was good. I would not rent again from this property management company based on our experience.
