  1. Cold flat without heating and hot water

    Positive: No comment Negative: The property lacked working heat and hot water, which pretty much ruined our much awaited six night family holiday over Easter. No practical help was offered to resolve the situation, despite numerous phone calls and emails from our end. I suspect the 'local team' did not exist and the many prompts to send photographs of the boiler and thermostats and give prior approval for the local team to enter the premises was a cheap way to placate me and my family. I have since learned that the lack of heating and hot water has been an on-going issue since June 2023. Shame on you for renting this flat out to unsuspecting families!

    This is a beautiful modern house. However, many things were not working (lights) or missing (no bath plug). The major issue we had was the heating and water. It seemed to not be on at all when we arrived, which we presumed to affect the hot water. Whilst a contractor came fairly promptly to resolve the heating, the hot water was not fixed. The management company was then unable to reach the contractor which meant no hot water for 4 days. Not acceptable! The host then became totally unresponsive when this information was relayed.

    The house doesn’t have any functional heating so they have put out small plug in electrical heaters which are not strong enough so we were cold the entire stay. The hot water only works at certain times of day and there are no instructions. The house is in quite bad condition and there are cobwebs in the corners of the rooms. The lock safe to get the main gate open doesn’t work and the code doesn’t match what it in the listing. We repeatedly tried to get support but their support team literally just said “we’re looking in to it” each time we messaged them throughout the trip. A very cold stay in Bath!

    I booked this for location and car parking which was great however I had to download an app for the key in advance and of course the app didn't work on the day. after a phone call I was given the key box code as I come to expect with Airbnb. unfortunately the entrance to the basement and two bedrooms smelt damp despite the air freshener. the house was cold and took the entirety of my stay to warm up. the boiler was off and my children and I ended up having cold showers. I messaged a lot on the app and made multiple phones calls and despite being told I would receive instructions by email I did not receive anything. I was also told a plumber would come who didn't. and multiple times told not to take the key with me to town. i expected everything to be fixed when we returned. when we did return the gates to the area were all closed. the key code given for the pedestrian gate in the next street didn't work and no one answered my call. since the key fob was in the box we could not access

    The booking process and check in was super simple. The house was clean, spacious, comfortable and well outfitted with lots of comfortable places to sit and hang out in the kitchen/sitting area. It was in a great location, convenient to the centre of Bath and within easy walking distance of the train station. Booking process was easy and agents were helpful and responsive. Recommend without hesitation.

  12. Very disappointing.

    Positive: We booked this so we could all have our own bedroom and bathroom (3 people) so this was good but 2 of the bedrooms were in the basement and were absolutely freezing because we had no heating the whole time we were there. Negative: There was no heating or hot water in the property the whole time we were here (early January) and we couldn't take a shower. They did provide portable electric heaters which meant we could at least keep slightly warm but it was extremely inconvenient and upsetting that we couldn't shower or wash apart from in cold water! When we read previous reviews we realised that this is an ongoing problem and doesn't ever appear to ever get sorted. Also the fridge was leaking and again that had been noted by previous guests many months before our stay and hadn't been rectified. There were key codes for everything, and the code to obtain the gate fob to open the main gate didn't work so if the gate was locked there was no means of opening it to get in or out. Luckily we walked to the town one evening but the gate was locked on our return so we wouldn't have been able to get back in if we had driven.

    Positive: This was in a perfect location right on the edge of the town, only 5 mins walk to be right in the centre. The property was secure and had 3 double beds each with its own en suit. The views from the property over the river are amazing. The communal area with kitchen and dining, and sofa was very nice and spacious. Negative: Had a horrendous time while at the property. No heating or hot water for the duration of the stay. Multiple contacts with the mangement team of the property, who are all very nice to talk too but didnt offer any practical help. The property also needs a deep clean. Its clean in bathrooms, beds, etc, but in the drawers are dust, and walls and bannisters are marked, just needs that annual spring clean to bring it back up to scratch. The balcony was also out of use when we were there.

Fridge was not cold lights worked but that's all. Negative: Cuando llegamos el agua caliente y la calefacción no funcionaban, avisamos a la propiedad, nos dijeron que enviarían un técnico. En los tres días que estuvimos no vino nadie, aunque insistimos cada día ya que no podíamos ni ducharnos con agua caliente. Es un desprecio a unos clientes que han pagado por un servicio que no han recibido y que ni siquiera a día de hoy (hace 4 días que dejamos la casa) nos han devuelto la fianza que nos pidieron antes de entrar ni nos han dado ningún tipo de indemnización por la falta de servicio que ellos sabían que no funcionaba antes de que nosotros llegáramos. Para acceder a la casa es necesario instalarse una app en el móvil.

    Positive: Location, style, space Negative: No hot water for the duration of the stay, an attempt was made to fix this but it failed. Broken kitchen cupboard door, leaking fridge, generally tired decoration, not particularly clean, lots of cobwebs on the balcony, confusion over the key arrangements, having to download an app to get in , but we didn’t need it.

    Positive: The only feature of this property that stands out is the location, which is within 5 minutes walking distance of Bath town centre. There is a rather pleasant view of the river but as that is from a window at the foot of the stairs any chair would block access so you have to choose to stand and look out. Good for a young family or a large party of guests as a basecamp to explore Bath. Negative: The entire stay was a disaster. Communication with the managing agents was dire - entirely one-way. We arrived not knowing that there was no hot water and no heating - something that the agents already knew. I spent 1.5 hours attempting to restart the boiler until I realised the circuit breaker was tripping each time I switched it on. An electrician had been pre-arranged to call but he arrived with no warning in the middle of a client meeting, and I was unable to let him in. He never returned. Repeated attempts to contact the agents met with deaf silence and the only response was an automated message that they were "talking to their colleagues". The agents were clearly managing this from the Philippines. The result was five days with no hot water, no heating! The property has clearly seen better days, the photos do not reflect the property. It feels like a youth hostel. There is a large round glass table and six cheap Ikea plastic bucket chairs - all of which are in various states of breaking. There is not a single comfortable armchair (or in fact any comfortable chair) and the sofa has seen much better days. Everything is scratched, scuffed, tired and extremely worn. This property is bare minimum, spartan & utilitarian. Not a single toilet roll holder, not a single towel rail. The bath has no plug, the upstairs en-suite is a wet-room that does not drain - so you sleep next to a damp room which makes using the toilet require drying your feet. The Nespresso has a box of caramel-coffee of a type three sizes too big, clearly for a different machine. Even the cheap Ikea salt & pepper set were unusable as the staff had refilled with course ground seasoning. The fridge was leaking needing defrosting and the doors have black mould.

Comes with private free parking, very private location and river view. The host can be more considerate. 1. The boiler was broken so we had to leave and get refund. 2. The table pepper and salt ware was not usable. 3. The team did not give clear and responsive communications for solving our broken boiler problem. We reached help from airbnb. It was much better. Over all I recommend to book it, if all functions it will be a great stay for 3 families or friends group to stay!

We understand that this was known about before we checked in, but we were not informed and were offered no assistance to sort out the problem. Locked out of the property complex when we returned from dinner. One of our kids had to climb over a wall to help us get back in.     This place is wonderful for space, function and location (walkable easily). It is peaceful with a nice view. However the checkin was not good and for three nights we didn’t have hot water for showers. This place has so much potential but no hot shower on vacation and no resolution when we left showed a lack of follow through that makes no sense. The person answering the phone was kind and helpful but ‘tracking down maintenance’ isn’t a solution. The instructions we were provided via Airbnb didn’t show a gate code and the gate was locked. My daughter climbed the gate to let us in. Then the digital key didn’t work and the code we were given for the lock box was not right. My tip, call the number and don’t wait for an Airbnb response. The women at the phone was fast to help us get in but we had waited a while for the Airbnb communication. I could have overlooked this but then cold showers for our time here was not reasonable.

    Positive: Location was great , lovely view of the river , property just in need of a little tlc Negative: Electronic entrance for those on roaming does not wk well, n first person called to help couldnt tell me someone was meant to call back as keybox number in orginal instruction was incoreect , no call back so had to call second time . Property had no hot water as fuse for heating keep tripping so nil hot water for 2 days ,cold showers not apppreciatdd and lower showers back up with water quickly so drains need a clean out. Outside area needs a clean up more spoderwebs than some might want to sit with . Could be a fantastic site as very cool little unit just needs some general maintenance done .

  32. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bath, the accommodation was lovely and in a perfect location to access the City.

    Positive: good facilities.. spacious.. generally clean.. location was perfect and quiet. Negative: the beds weren’t big enough for two sharing and not very comfortable. the downstairs shower drainage was poor so the tray filled up to almost overflowing. The sink in the en-suite bedroom opposite the entrance door had poor drainage. The property is in need of a renovation, the sliding door was stiff with a lose handle and in need of a good clean and oil, the patio needed a good clean and the moss removed, the carpets were tatty going up the stairs from the entrance and to the upstairs bedroom. The dishwasher had food in it from the previous guests and one of the doors to a kitchen cupboard came off it’s hinges, this was reported to the agent.

    We loved staying in this house! The building itself is lovely and is tucked away in a quiet spot, yet it is still very convenient for all that Bath offers. Walcot road area has nice shops and restaurants and all the main Bath attractions are walkable from the house, so you don’t really need a car once there. (Though the parking space is handy!) The house was great for our family group of 5. It is fresh and modern and was a nice place to spend time together. We would definitely book this house again if returning to Bath.

So close to the city centre- could walk everywhere Negative: Unfortunate that 2 out of the 3 showers weren’t working properly & for almost 2 days we had no hot water. it was very difficult to get hold of anyone because I believe it’s like a call centre- every time I called I had to explain the same issue over & over again. Eventually it was sorted. it was a difficult time of year, I understand with it coming up to Christmas but there has to be an easier way of communicating. The keyless lock system was a pain- I don’t see what is wrong with the a few keys. When you have poor phone reception- you can’t get into the house.

Apartment was in a lovely location overlooking the river and a very short walk into the city centre. The apartment was bright and airy and free of clutter. We checked in using the Klevio app which was brilliant although less tech savvy folk may not like that - however they did offer an alternative check in method if that didn't work for us. Overall a great stay and would not hesitate to recommend .

Better communication with the host would have made our stay better. We were not given instructions on where to park or how to access the property before we got there. It’s in a fenced in area that wasn’t open on the weekend. I had messaged the host 4 hours prior to arriving asking about parking and didn’t get a response. Calling the number they provided led us to a management company that couldn’t answer questions. We ultimately got in touch with the host, but sat outside the property for hours in our car before we could access the home. It was not a good start to our stay. They need to update the listing with better instructions. Make sure you get detailed check in instructions if you choose to book.

  52. Lovely apartment but problematic access arrangements

    Positive: It was a lovely apartment in a great position to explore Bath. Good to have a bathroom for each bedroom and plenty of space. Having the outdoor area was a bonus, nice place to sit and have a glass of wine looking down on the river Negative: Our main worry was how to access the property as many of the reviews mentioned the difficulties in gaining access. We expected a battle and unfortunately we weren’t disappointed! Gaining access to the property via the app was very difficult and stressful. Bearing in mind how many previous guests have had problems we were surprised that nothing has been done to rectify the situation. I would love to stay at the property again but wouldn’t consider it until changes had been made to the access arrangements

The positioning of the cabinet was wrong, I nearly hit my head on it a couple of times going into the bathroom and coming out of the shower. Negative: Kundenservice war schlecht erreichbar, hat aber zurückgerufen nach einer Weile. Mussten nach Einfahrt ins Gelände die Unterkunft erstmal suchen. Das ganze Haus ist voller Spinnweben aussen, auch im Haus Insekten (v.a. Spinnen) Fensteraufmachen nur eingeschränkt zu empfehlen, wenn einen das stört. Viele Defekte an den Möbeln, Schranktüren locker, teils aus dem Scharnier gerissen, Stühle wackelig, Lampe hängt schief, Türgriffe locker. Toilette nicht richtig sauber, Teppiche schmuddelig und Handläufe an den Treppen klebrig. Gläser mussten erstmal in die Spülmaschine, hatten unappetitliche Flecken. Trotzdem 70 Euro Reinigungspauschale bezahlt. Und Kaution für evtl. Schäden in Höhe von 250 Euro bezahlt. Macht ein schlechtes Gefühl, wenn das Appartment dann in solchem Zustand bei Ankunft ist.

About an hour to enter the apartment. it doesn’t need to be that complex.

No instructions to operate anything, coffee m/c, microwave, external gates etc, was actually locked in for half a day on the Sunday when electric gate was shut. Overgrown greenery blocking light in downstairs bedroom. Bathroom cabinet at head height which caused a nasty accident, hit head very hard on corner, first time l walked into the bathroom. Waited an hour to get into building on arrival as phone didnt have app so had to keep ringing for help, waited ages in heat, after long journey. Disabled Daughter was exhausted, not warned about all the stairs, or the steep walk up to the road. Cooker, fridge & some equipment were unclean. Fridge was constantly noisy, sofa worn & not suitable for comfort, no support.

    Positive: The property is in a stunning location right next to the river with alder trees on the riverbank right outside. We saw kingfishers a couple of times from the window and watched the pleasure trip boats passing occasionally. The rooms are comfortable and the lounge/diner/kitchen is roomy, light and airy and well-equipped. It is great that there is a parking space right outside. The Abbey and other main attractions are within a few minutes walk, as is a Waitrose store and many places to eat. Negative: The main problem was the keycode access to the property. On arrival we couldn't get in using the code provided on our mobile as the front door also needed a special knack, not known to us. We had to phone for help before we could get in and after a long journey stuck in traffic this was quite stressful. The following day, returning in the early hours from a family wedding, this time we found the vehicular gate to the courtyard closed. We followed the instructions but the key fob inside the property did not open the gate. There followed more phone calls in the early hours but the problem was not resolved, so we had to pay to park on a nearby street. More lengthy phone calls were needed the following morning as the gate was still shut, until eventually a different way of opening the gate was told to us. This did cause quite a bit of stress and took up quite a lot of our holiday time. I'm sure that these problems are easily resolved with better instructions and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property for its wonderful location in Bath.

    Positive: Delightful central Bath location with three separate bedrooms and plenty of space Negative: Joining instructions were very unclear and seemingly written by someone who had never visited the property. Identifying the property, parking space and access (via a mandatory 'phone app) required considerable trial and error, as did using the gate fob (once we found it) and gaining access to the bin store (which was in chaos because bins had seemingly not been emptied for months). Whilst the accommodation was comfortable, it was tired and unloved, filled with rather random furniture and lacking in various kitchen items, hooks and hanging space, with other irritating (rather than disastrous) omissions which would become immediately apparent to anyone staying here for even one night. All in all the general feeling was of a property managed remotely (all contact being with a computer or people in London) rather than via any involvement from someone on the ground in Bath. This all went against the 'luxury' branding that the prices and thorough (maybe even intrusive) vetting process might have suggested.

    Positive: . The location of this apartment was amazing, very close to all amenities and city centre. Parking for one car right outside the door which was very handy. More spacious than I was expecting with 3 double bedrooms. And the main living area was very bright. Nice toiletries and plenty of towels Negative: From the photos we were expecting a modern and well decorated apartment, however on arrival it became clear that there are many areas that need attention and redecorating, chipped and damaged paintwork, mould in the bathrooms, dirt under the sofa etc. We were contacted short notice and asked to provide photo ID for all adults, ridiculous rules stated such as all adults must be 28 or over and charged a steep security deposit of £250, which if the apartment was in excellent condition you could understand but nearly all of the dining room chairs were broken, one of the units was damaged, high chair was dirty, no available hoover or broom to clean the floor and the windows were dirty. Bedding also felt cheap, think chain Hotel or holiday park. There were no instructions for the stereo system and whilst there was WiFi we were unable to use this on the TV. The heating also didn't have instructions and was a bit temperamental. The keyless entry system was the most problematic as it required Internet access but signal was poor, one of the days we had to wait in the car as it was raining and we struggled to get through to concierge to get someone to let us in. We stayed early December and have only just been notified our security deposit is being refunded more than 2 weeks after our departure

    Positive: Excellent location and value for money. Bonus of a parking space so close to the city centre. All the attractions on your doorstep. Very quiet location overlooking the river - the outside area is lovely. Once inside you’d have no idea how close you are to a city centre. A lot of space in 3 good sized bedrooms. Negative: The booking process is a faff - having to send your id, pay a security deposit, download an app to use as a key. All done separately. Be aware that when you receive a message from booking via email it’ll show you the oldest messages first and newest ones last which meant I nearly missed messages from the property. The instructions received prior to our stay didn’t actually seem to relate to the property. Various codes for the gate lock/bin store didn’t work. Heating didn’t seem to be working despite following the instructions. Nothing that ruined the stay in anyway but the process could definitely be smoother and more user friendly. It wouldn’t put me off staying again but worth being aware in advance.

    Positive: Lots of potential if managed properly Negative: Here’s a copy of the ignored complaint I sent to management to detail all the problems we had: - £250 security deposit demanded 1 day prior to arrival, not meeting the T&Cs of the booking which says this will be requested 14 days before (IDs and selfies with IDs from 6 also requested with just 48 hours notice causing a lot of rush, panic and unnecessary stress). This security deposit was to ensure, among other things, that the apartment would not be damaged during our stay, but when we arrived there were scratches all over the walls and furniture, and a broken cupboard... so not to the standard you'd expect if the property owners are so prissy about damages. - Really rude, disorganised and last minute communication, making us feel very uneasy and like our stay was going to get cancelled. - Problematic key app entry - door would make an opening sound when we used the key app but would still be jammed shut, making it difficult to get in the apartment without having to fight with the door - took us over 5 minutes to get in each time. - Dirty bed sheets. - Dirty fridge. - Dirty cupboards. - Dirty and hazardously slippery balcony. I have a video of the property condition as we arrived showing the damaged walls, broken furniture, dirty cupboards and mould in the fridge, I also have photos of these including photos of dirty bed sheets. At the end of the day we booked the stay 11 MONTHS prior and paid the advertised price weeks before, so really it's totally out of order to be demanding £250 less than 24 hours before we're due to check in. Then you have the audacity to expect us to wait 10-14 days to get the money back. I hope you can see how ridiculously unprofessional that sort of service is. Ultimately, the condition of the place was not worth the hassle you put us through. If it was unbelievable quality then I might understand, but it really wasn't.

    Positive: The location was excellent. The views were really good. It was close to city centre but was very quiet and relaxing. A nice open bright living area. The bedding towels and bathrooms were nice a clean. Negative: The host Staybeyond were very difficult to communicate with. They repeatedly asked for the same information even though this information was provided. This started to feel very stressful. The door system requiring the use of a smart phone to enter the property was cumbersome and would not work when we arrived. This was also very stressful. The general cleanliness inside the property was extremely poor. The windows inside were full of large cobwebs and spiders. Window ledges, and beams were covered in dust, cobwebs and bits. This really affected the overall feel of the property. There was no vacuum cleaner or any other cleaning equipment to enable us to clean to improve the experience of our stay. The sofa in the living room was extremely dirty and underneath the cushions there was food, dust and dirt. The outside of the property was completely covered in cobwebs to the extent that it looked unoccupied. It was extremely nice to nice to have a terrace, but this was also completely thick with cobwebs and looked completely neglected. The overall appearance of the inside of property was extremely poor and badly needed redecorating. We raised these concerns with Staybeyond on our arrival both by telephone and by email and we sent several photographs to highlight our concerns and requested someone to clean. We also registered a formal complaint. Staybeyond acknowledged our concerns and they said they would send a ground crew but no one arrived in spite of us following this up with them. They also didn’t follow up on our complaint. We booked this property on behalf of two groups of friends and the presentation was extremely embarrassing and we had to apologise to them. We have used your company before and were really pleased. We are so disappointed with the experience of the property and Staybeyond. We have photographs to highlight our concerns. We would like to register a formal complaint with you and we look forward to hearing from you.

    Positive: Good central location, three bedrooms with three bathrooms so that was good for our family needs Negative: The place needs a little bit of tlc. Lots of grubby marks on walls, cob webs in windows. No storage in down stairs bedroom. Top bedroom could also do with more storage. Not all windows open. Getting access to electronic key wasn’t easy or straight forward. On of the large windows never lock so we waited in all day for someone to fix, they never arrived until after 4

    Positive: Great property on the side of the river. Easy access to shops and city sights Negative: For some reason the smoke alarm was over sensitive. All morning all you could hear was either our the neighbours alarms going off. There was no keyfob for the main gate in the property. Which were indicated in the property details. So, if the main gate was shut, you couldn't get your car in or out! Had to make a number of calls to the 'owners' to sort. You couldn't go on your own currently, due to this issue. So, this could really do with sorting. Shame really, everything else was good, Just frustrating. We would go again

    Positive: Really comfy beds and sofa :) Great physical space and a strong WiFi! A great base for exploring bath! Negative: The apartment is a great space! Amazing to have three bedrooms and a great open plan living, kitchen and diner! And the location is perfect just a ten minute walk from the centre! It was a bit tired in the bathrooms.. lots of chipped paint etc but it was clean. What let it down slightly were some of the facilities, after messaging questioning if the TV was a smart TV and reading in the welcome leaflet that it was, to turn up to no dvd player and no smart TV was disappointing. (Especially when you plan for chilled evenings in with a film) The sound system also did not work.

    Positive: It’s located exactly where we needed to be, you can easily get around Bath and can also walk to nearby attractions and shops. Plenty to do around the property and inside plenty of space for us two couples to relax and chat in the evening, there’s even a space outside to sit on a balcony to have a drink and chat. You are looking directly onto the river outside which is a nice view. There’s a large secure parking space right outside the front door which is very handy. One important piece of advice would be to keep a lookout for the welcome email the management company will send you with all useful advice explaining the location and access codes etc. Entirely my fault I missed the email which was there and had to contact the management team for advice. They were extremely helpful and as well as explaining everything over the phone we needed to know also resent the welcome email straight away. I honestly can’t fault them for service. When we got inside after maybe 10 minutes (all my fault) the property was spotless with clean bedding, plenty of towels and all toiletries. There was even a choice of tea and coffee. You just need to buy some milk if you use it ? There’s a large fridge/freezer in the kitchen as well . The Wi-fi code is supplied in your welcome email and works effectively throughout the whole property. It was a quiet location but as soon as you walked out there’s an abundance of shops and restaurants (Large Waitrose approximately 5 minutes away). We ate in the Thai Basil restaurant on one corner and had a late lunch in Aqua on the other corner and can recommend both. Also if you can get a reservation in the Scallop Shell you won’t be disappointed ! What a lovely place and excellent value… I can highly recommend a stay here 👌🏻. Negative: We loved everything!

  123. Would give high marks if it wasn't for the company 'Stay Beyond' that run the chalets

    Positive: There was nothing wrong with the chalet itself. It was bright, spacious, clean with great views and the location was perfect. I'd love to give it 5* but the company 'Stay Beyond', were unorganised and hard work - Even our neighbours had the same issues as highlighted in the next part of my review. You'd expect an email on the day of your arrival detailing every step you need to take to get into the chalet - We received nothing. We called the company to ask for the entry pin to get into the chalet but we were told we needed to send a security deposit of £250 (this is fine, we expect to pay deposits in most places). But they also requested a copy of each I.D. to a separate email address. We had already sent our I.D.s before arrival along with our video questionnaires, so to do this again was frustrating, we were then told we'd receive an email with the entry pin. We got nothing, so had to ring again, to be told we had to download an app to get a keyless entry pin. Negative: Finally, after an hour! We were in the amazing property. Upon heading out for the evening the main gate was closed. When we arrived back the entry pin wouldn't work on the main gate as apparently, this is a separate pin to the keyless app. Which no surprise, we weren't told about and never received. We tried to get this pin with no luck!! So we had to climb over the wall to let ourselves in!! When we approached the door to our chalet, the keyless entry on the app had disappeared and said we had no key. We refreshed the page, redownloaded the app, still no key. So we tried the online support chat on the app but they didn't reply, so we had to call the office again to let us into the chalet. The online support replied 24 hours later saying it wouldn't have been something they'd have been able to help with, so not exactly a great 'live chat support system'. To top this all off, at the same time we were locked out, we apparently received a noise complaint because we were stuck outside trying to get in. Now because of all this hassle on just getting into the property, they took our £250 security deposit and said it's not refundable due to the noise complaint. We would not have had this noise complaint if they had given clear, precise, formal instructions with key codes that actually worked. The last thing I'd like to point out, as this is not advertised before you pay and book - They ask everyone who's staying at the property to do a video questionnaire. You have to send it to them for review before your stay as they want to see who is staying there and what your plans are - They send you a link in the early hours of the morning so we weren't sure if this was some sort of scam as it asked for your I.D.s - it's genuine because I called to make sure, however, we found it a little invasive and judgemental. Luckily we are a nice group of girls so they didn't cancel on us based on our answers and looks!!

    Positive: Fantastic interior, spacious, light and attractive decor. The decking area overlooking the River is lovely. Furniture comfy and modern. So close to city centre, didn't need to use the car at all. Negative: There were a few minor things that improve the accommodation such as providing a tin opener and fixing the wobbly kitchen chairs. These have been reported and promised to be fixed so worth checking.

    Positive: The apartment was absolutely ideal for us. It was well equipped and really comfortable. The location was brilliant as everything was within walking distance. Fabulous view of the River too. Negative: The keyless entry was a bit stressful. The parking wasn't too clever either as we had 3 cars.

  129. Beautiful property but needs more attention.

    Positive: No comment Negative: The beds on the ground floor didn't have any headboards which made sleeping extremely uncomfortable due to the pillows being micro bean filled. This meant the pillows were rolling up to the wall. The shower en suite to the master bedroom was clogged although still useable. Cleanliness of the property as a whole was a let down spiderwebs in almost every little corner which is a shame because the chalet is beautiful. My little girl was counting how many webs she could find so atleast she was entertained.

    Positive: The information/location given regarding keys was incorrect and the door code was also incorrect, it therefore took sometimes to enter the property. When we phoned the number given on the email the person on the phone was a little confrontational. If we had of arrived in the dark and out of office hours it could have been even more difficult. Please ensure details are amended for future customers. Negative: The outside/entrance to the building but thankfully when we eventually entered the property it was as expected.

    Positive: The property was in a brilliant location just a few minutes walk to town center. Negative: There are a few things that needs to be sorted ie the upstairs shower water pressure was really bad, the single bathroom toilet water was very slow to drain so we all had to use the en-suite bathroom. It could do with a bit of refurb part from that it’s a nice property.
