El piso estaba bien ubicado para poder ir y venir del aeropuerto de Gatwick y para ir a ver el museo de Harry Potter. A media hora larga en bus del centro de londres. Estaba limpio y ordenado. La zona era muy tranquila y con supermercados al lado. Estaciones de bus y tren cerca. La cocina tenia todo lo necesario, utensilios, hervidor, cafetera de prensa, microondas, horno, lavadora… Como únicas pegas, los colchones eran bastante incomodos, pues eran de muelles y quizá por el tiempo que tendrían, se notaban mucho los muelles. Además no hubo manera de utilizar la calefacción porque no funcionaba el termostato y no nos lo solucionaron.

I booked this place for 4 people and the apartment is appropriate for a max of 4 people. Initially it was a bit hard to find the place but if you will follow the location which they will share in the links they will share after the booking then you would be fine. There would be some extra effort to pick up and drop the keys for the apartment. Also if you are carrying big luggages then there is a staircase which needs to be covered to reach the apartment. Overall apartment was well maintained, though furniture in the balcony is not being maintained much but due to the rainy weather we didn't get a chance to enjoy that part. Overall it was a pleasant stay at this residence. David and Jane are great hosts.

The apartment is lovely - recently refurbished, well-decorated - as described & as the photographs. But, access is not ideal. You have to collect the keys from a store some way away, a difficult walk particularly if you have luggage, wet weather, etc. In addition, the key cannot be collected even one minute earlier than the stated check-in time. I was also surprised to receive an email 10 days before my arrival to say there was a problem with the toiletries supplier and that there would not be any available for my stay. Quite odd given that many stores in the area, I would have thought! A pity. It is a lovely apartment but I guess, as its managed by a large agency, there are no small touches or the flexibility one experiences when dealing directly with the owners.

There were pros and cons to our stay. Pros: the apartment was spotlessly clean and a great space to be in. Beds were comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen were spotless. Cons: Key collection was from a store 10 minutes walk from train station. Then it was another 5-7 minutes walk to the Airbnb. If you are walking with luggage as we were it’s a bit frustrating. A key lock at the apartment would be more convenient. Finally we could not get the thermostat regulated in the apartment. The temperature reached 24-25C which was very uncomfortable. We had to open doors and windows to cool the place. It turned out that changing the thermostat from automatic to manual fixed this but we didn’t learn about this until the final evening of our stay. It really spoilt a family get together not being able to resolve this problem sooner.

Great location for us. Best airport for the location is Gatwick. The flat is light and airy. The terrace is private and the perfect spot foe a cup of tea on the morning or a glass of wine in The evening. The beds are queen size not king. David and Jane were very responsive to any issue we had.

Positive: Modern flat, comfortable beds and great terrace. Great location, close to local supermarket and buses/trains Negative: The flat is located at the bottom of a hill which could be a problem when travelling with a baby/pram, elderly people or just lots of bags. It would have been nice to know about it in advance. Also, the pick up/ drop off system for the keys is not the most convenient.

Positive: Nice modern property, an Asda and a Whole foods close by. Great Shower. Negative: Was noisy as next to a train line and in a flightpath. But we got used it. There is a rug covered in Algae on the deck which was soaked with rain. So you need shoes if going out. Was no dishtowels,dish brushes, cloths or sponges or dishwasher tablets. Complained about this to Staybeyond but they just blanked me telling us that yes it was all there. Essentially calling us liars. I offered to go and buy the stuff if they reimbursed me. This went on for 2 days (as they take forever to respond ). Just got blanked. So I ended up going and buying the stuff anyway so we could keep the place tidy, and then just took it home. Don’t get me started on getting the deposit back. .Absolutely shocking company. Lovely flat but “Staybeyond” ruined the experience (I’ve only mentioned a couple of things in this review).

The balcony area is lovely for dinning and relaxing. Apartment is clean and easy to find, but there is slope going up and down from main road/ clapham junction and it could be more convenient if key locker is used instead of pick up/ drop off at a store for 8 minutes.

The apartment was beautiful and we liked staying at that location as it was very close to train, supermarket, pharmacy. However, the management of the property was terrible! Not responsive, no bath towels provided, keys had to be picked up and dropped off in another location and was not flexible at all. Place was clean overall, but rubbish was at the entrance and we had to clean clogged shower drain and head. Host did not resolve our issue with the towel and the agency managing the property was not responsive at all.

Positive: Very well equipped, comfortable, clean and modern in a great location. Negative: The performance of identity checks was a little over the top. The people in the shop at the pick up were pretty unpleasant and kept me waiting for quite some time and were very unhelpful when my code was rejected. However this was quickly resolved by the courteous property manager who gave me another code. It’s a pity to use this key pick up arrangement when there was a key lock box at the property.

A great flat, in perfect condition, responsive hosts, good location. We would happily return.
Positive: Flat was immaculately clean and well furnished, with a lovely private terrace (balcony). Location was ideal for us, but we lived in the area for decades and know it well. It is not near a tube (London Underground) station, but Clapham Junction is very near and will get you anywhere on the network. Many, many good and affordable restaurants nearby. Hosts responded quickly to our queries and requests. Negative: The pre-visit process was VERY poor: we received numerous long emails, with "next step" instructions buried within paragraphs of long prose. The hosts required an elaborate identify verification process -- nothing wrong with that, but it would have been easy to miss messages and end up unable to check in. Key pick up was extremely inconvenient, too far from the flat and in an area that inexperienced visitors to London would have found intimidating. As we tried to enter the shop to pick up keys, we were accosted and shouted at by a street person who was clearly in mental distress. When we arrived, we found that the heat had been completely switched off and smelly food trash left in the bin -- the place was otherwise perfectly clean. A pre-visit check would have remedied both problems. The flat is on the market and we had to deal with a few quick showings, a minor annoyance, because the hosts handled this very smoothly. Make the pre-visit and key collection process easier and ensure that the place is totally ready for a new visitor, and you will have an ideal London flat.

Positive: הדירה נהדרת. רחבת ידיים, שני חדרי שינה מצוידים בארון, מראות בשפע, מגהץ, פן לשיער בכל חדר. חימום שעובד מעולה, כך גם המים החמים במקלחת. המטבח מצויד בכל מה שצריך, כולל חומרי ניקוי ומצרכים לבישול ראשוני. לא השתמשנו במרפסת, אבל אני בטוחה שאם היה מזג אוויר טוב יותר, היינו נהנים ממנה. חסר רק מתקן יבוש לכביסה..אבל הסתדרנו. הדירה רחוקה 7 דקות הליכה מתחנת הרכבת Clapham junction, ככה שתוך כמה דקות נסיעה, כבר נמצאים מתחנת ויקטוריה. יש שני סופרמרקטים קרובים, האחד פתוח עד חצות, השני עד עשר בלילה. כמו כן, שפע מסעדות ובתי קפה באיזור. תודה רבה, נהנו מאוד. Negative: תהליך הזמנת הדירה היה מורכב ומתמשך, מעבר להזמנה באתר בוקינג. מבינה את הרצון שיגיעו אורחים אשר יכבדו את הדירה, אך התהליך מורכב מידי לטעמי. מקווה שאקבל את הפיקדון (300 פאונד) במהרה:)
