The apartmente is very well placed in a peaceful area of central London. However, maybe due to the tall surrounding buildings, mobile data is often unavailable. This wouldn't have been an issue if the Wi-Fi worked properly, but it only worked for a couple of hours during the first night. We tried to reboot the router without success. This was not a big issue for us, since we were mainly there to spend the night/sleep, but it might be an issue for someone intending to spend more time at the apartment. TV was also unavailable, since I think it depended on Wi-Fi. The house was very clean and everything was easy to use, except for the windows that do not open due to lack of maintenance. Again, this was not a big issue for us as it was winter, but it might be during other seasons. Overall the apartment is very good and well priced when compared to other similar lodging in London. It is very spacious and more than enough for four people.

Pro’s: the location of the appartment is good. Walking distance to the tube. Appartment is spacious. Con’s: it looks like there has been a fight or something like that: the kitchen window is broken and covered with wood and there is damage in the kitchen. The appartment looks a bit worn down: curtains have stains, the window of the bedroom is broken etc. The communication is not personal but done via an automated algorithm, and most communication we received was about all rules we had to stick to instead of a warm welcome. We will not return

Gaia's flat was perfect for us. The close proximity to Old Street Tube station was brilliant as it gave us easy access to the whole City. It was actually within reasonable walking distance (half an hour) to an awful lot of the City. The local Pret was a 2min walk for coffee and pastries in the morning and there were plenty of mini markets & takeaways nearby to keep you fed and watered. It was very clean and well fitted out with a lovely kitchen, bathroom and en suite. Both bedrooms were a really good size. Gaia was very responsive to any messages and was quick to respond, a really good host. All in all we had a great long weekend.

Positive: The amount of space was great and a convenient location to tubes with plenty of clean towels. Negative: The WiFi was not convenient to use. Very disappointing and no TV service. Broken window and cabinet and a light out in the main lounge. The maintenance on the flat was lacking.

Le logement est vraiment parfait. Spacieux, confortable, décoré avec goût, quartier calme, dans la zone 1 des transports en commun, proche du centre. Nous avons juste rencontré un petit problème lors de notre arrivé car le numéro indiqué était le 3 alors que c'était le 2. Je vous recommande vivement ce logement pour un séjour.

Tolle Wohnung in einer tollen Lage. Leider mit nicht zu öffnenden Fenstern :-(.
Positive: Große Wohnung und sieht genau so aus wie auf den Fotos. Tolle Lage, zentral und dennoch ruhig. Negative: Das Fenster in der Küche ist mit einem Holzbrett vernagelt - geht gar nicht. Die Fenster in den beiden Schlafzimmer ließen sich nicht öffnen, ein absolutes no-go! Diese beiden Probleme standen schon in Bewertungen aus August und September. Bei unserem Aufenthalt Ende Oktober war es immer noch so, es hat sich also niemand darum gekümmert. Unsere Kaution haben wir bis heute (8.12.) nicht wieder!

Positive: Fint område og sentralt beliggenhet ved Old street Negative: Vi kom til et kjøkkenvindu som var spikret igjen med en finer plate, et spisebord som ikke kunne brukes da det var så vinglete og manglet 2 av sidene som støtter opp glassplata. Rullegardina i stua var låst i en posisjon og soveromsvinduet kunne man ikke åpne for den manglet en del.

Appartement situé dans un agréable quartier avec des commerces et restaurants à proximité. L'appartement était accessible à partir de 15h, arrivés vers 17h30 à l'appartement nous avons dû attendre une bonne demi-heure avant de pouvoir s'installer correctement car l'équipe de ménage n'avait pas fini de faire les chambres. La fenêtre d'une des chambres était condamnée avec l'interdiction de l'ouvrir, et une du salon était cassée et remplacée par une grande planche de bois. De plus la télévision n'a pas fonctionné de tout le week-end. Ça ne nous a pas empêché de passer un bon séjour dans cet appartement qui est bien équipé et dans un endroit très calme.

Positive: Spacious apartment, good bathrooms - with great showers, wardrobe space very good, with a large wardrobe in the hall way, so plenty of space to hide away the luggage. The kitchen/dining/ lounge area is great - very comfortable sofa seating arrangement - nice dining area and a well equipped kitchen, nice to have a small balcony. Washing machine and dryer worked. Neighbourhood is quiet. Overall, apartment is as shown in the photos. However there are some matters that need attention. Negative: The master bedroom window would not close over so large open gap (October! but luckily weather was glorious). It did not get sorted until the last afternoon despite repeated requests and given the time of year this could have been quite serious to have to sleep with a window wide open. The window was not actually fixed however so the next guests will have the same problem if they open it as the right hand mechanism is not screwed onto the frame and the arm displaces to come inside the window frame. The second bedroom window could not be opened, it is locked shut (or broken) and was not unlocked despite our request to unlock it, so my sister and daughter was sweltering at night. This has to have been an issue neglected for a while. Also the kitchen window which supplies most of the light to the kitchen/dining/lounge area is boarded up just a small section of window remain at floor level. It is so well / solidly boarded that again it seems to have been in place for a while. Considering that a damage deposit is requested, this damage should have been fixed - it makes the entire, otherwise lovely area, very very dark. The fridge is over due a proper cleaning out. The soap dispensers in both bathrooms barely had any soap and one tiny tiny tiny bottle of shower gel for two people per bathroom is a overly miserly.

Place was clean with good linen and towels which is the most important thing. Unfortunately we did not have internet for the period. The toaster was broken and one of the windows was boarded up which made for a hot apartment (and no fans). No serious attempt to rectify the internet and other issues. (The place is run through a letting group)

Nice apartment close to Shoreditch - we were 4 people visiting London and it was perfect for us. Two bathrooms and sleeping rooms as well as the living room and a really good equipped kitchen made our stay easy. We had a great time!

Pros: Great location with lots of restaurants. - Decent size apartment with 2 washrooms. Cons: - Not very clean, stains , dust overall - Very basic amenities (bring your own shampoo they don't provide enough and no extra soap in the bathroom). For kitchen - no spice beyond salt and pepper. The biggest con was the check in process. They sent a link advising you have to go to a store to get physical keys. They didn't send the code for the keys - I had to pay long distance to call to get it. Plus walk to store and back which meant I have to leave my kids and luggage at the apartment or carry all our luggage to and from store. Also, even though I booked an extra night so we can check out late the previous evening they charged me $15 Euro per hour for early check in so I can store our luggage.
